Place:  Germany
Notes:  Sent by Peter Blickle with the following description. The old farm woman (or maybe a tenant farmer's, sometimes referred to as half farmer's wife) in the picture is carrying one large lump of hay under her left arm while she is raking leftover hay -- presumably on her way to either her cart or her farm house or the hay shed somewhere in the field -- with the wooden rake in her right. In the background is a solitary farm, probably somewhere in the Hegau (a flat region in the Alpine foothills near Leutkirch and Wurzach).
