Index Words:  round-hay-bales, horses, transport
Place:  Michigan
Notes:  The artist sent me this fine image, along with ID 5971 and 5972, and a generous email: The island is sustained by the working horses who are brought by boat. Over 900 horses keep things moving during the Summer months, including the very hay they eat. Tons of hay is brought over and placed upon the drays which the horses pull to the stables. Very hard work, very meager pay!
