Notes:  This long view of the three principal figures on the Otterness installation near Utica, Montana, during the fall of 2002, shows the monumentality of the pieces even in the grand rolling landscape of central Montana. The closest figure is an archetypal female holding a rudimentary scythe; the figure at left is bending to pick up a round bale; and further away on the skyline is a figure holding two round bales. The latter figure also appears in ID 1140, photographed when it was re-installed near Bellevue, Idaho.
